Please join us as we celebrate Lt. Michael A. Smith's retirement and
honor his many years of service to the Logan Circle community and to
the District of Columbia!
We hope you can join the community in honor of his service and to
celebrate the next phase of his life, on November 8, 2008 at the Ronald
Reagan Building Ballroom. We will have light appetizers, a cash bar,
music, dancing, and a festive celebration and retrospective in honor of
Lt. Smith.
In honor of Lt. Smith's fondness for warm and sunny climates, scuba
diving, and his wife's fondness for the occasional fruity
umbrella-laden beverage, we're having a tropical themed party...
so please don your favorite hawaiian shirt or tropical gear and
prepare for a night of dancing, food, friends, and fun -
all to celebrate our one and only Lt. Smith!

The minimum charge of $35 per person covers the cost of the venue,
entertainment and light food. We encourage you to make a larger
donation, which will be used as a gift to Lt. Smith.
This is a pre-paid event. Reservations must be purchased in
advance and payment received no later than November 3, 2008.
We will add your name to the list and you can check-in at the door.
Other important pieces of information:
- Parking is $10 at the Ronald Reagan Building. It is also
metro accessible.
- Government issued ID is required.
- Any officers attending (on- or off-duty) who will be carrying
weapons need to provide us with their names and ranks prior to the
event.
